Ski Club Activities:
Ski Club provides mainly heavily discounted ski lift tickets for New England resorts.
Now it is Sunday River, ME and Burke Mtn, VT.
We are non profit organization created for this purpose - make skiing more affordable for everybody! This calendar covers only Sunday River weekend and week-long ski trips at this issue. There should be more destinations, deeper into the season, though.
Head count goes up, over 700 skiers receiving E-mails, which translates into 3-4 time more skiers on the slopes!.
HOW TO ORDER CMSG TICKETS? (Where do I fit in it? Z.)
REQUEST - the mountain wants to have the orders finalized 60 days before the trip!
So, I ask for payments even earlier, about 10 weeks before the trip at the latest.
So, please:
-make your mind,
-write me (in my name) the checks for every event (*date) separately and
-mail all that to me. Thanks!
IMPORTANT: hotel cancellation is not possible. The best option is to find someone replacing the person, who cannot go. If lift ticket cannot be picked up, it can be rescheduled or refunded (usually voucher in SR money to use there for a year).
Where do you get the tickets?
You buy your lift tickets yourself online (I can help, if you are in trouble) and you pick up your RFID GoCard (touch-less readout at the lift gate) with preloaded lift tickets, just presenting your ID to Sunday River host. It's almost always in "Group Sales" kiosk (QR codecomes handy), office, booth at the mountain. You don't have to mention Central Mass Ski Club list. They have your name already from your online purchase.
I repeat - to order the trip, please, make your mind, write me (in my name) the checks for event (*date).
The check offers no penalty change of the payment (if early enough).
At time sensitive cases (last moment), I will accept other forms of payments (Zelle, ApplePay, Venmo etc.)

The kind of lodging we offer in Grand Summit and Jordan Grand Hotels - you have to buy space for minimum required, which means:
If it says: Sleeps 2-4. You have to pay for at least two skiers lodging.
If it says: Sleeps 4-6. You have to pay for at least four skiers lodging.

All units offer a full living area, kitchen, one bath, and an outdoor deck. Adjoining lockout room available with select units. Murphy beds pull down from the wall and fold up out of sight when not in use. Mattresses rest on platforms. Sleeps 4-6.

where you can select the Age (ad/teen/jun/senior) and Number of Days - how many days you want to ski (2 or 3)
*remember, the 2 days lift ticket begins on Saturday, 3 day ticket begins on Friday!
Then, click onthe right pointing arrow to change month to December (for December Trips) and look at the dates, you are interested at, selection Age and Number of Days, gives you a proper display.
You will need every group member's date of birth, this is important, because the price depends on how old are you.
Adult, teen, junior and senior - all tickets have different prices. Even children under 5 and super-seniors need tickets (very inexpensive, though).
What is good - it is an option there to buy either two days of skiing (tickets for Saturday and Sunday), or three days of skiing (tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

When all tickets are assigned, each to specific skier (Name), payment is required with Credit Card.

Keep both, they will be a base for receiving GoCard at Sunday River ticket window, your ID is also needed for confirming your age.
